An 18 year old student at New Trier High School was arrested Wednesday for allegedly hacking into New Trier High School’s computer network. The student, a highly-competitive senior, reportedly was attempting to determine his class rank by snooping into confidential New Trier data bases. According to police, however, the student also downloaded student ID Photos, names, transcripts and test scores for “dozens” of other students and copied those confidential records to his own laptop.
