Impact Forensics Presents CLE Program on Computer Forensics and Electronic Discovery to Attorneys at Leydig Voit & Mayer in Chicago

March 20th, 2008

Jeffrey Hartman, C.E.O. of Impact Forensics and Chad Gough, Impact’s Director of Electronic Discovery provided a crowd of attorneys from Leydig Voit & Mayer with a 90 minute lunchtime CLE opportunity at the Mid-America Club in Chicago today.  Impact Forensics is a Chicago – based provider of Computer Forensics and Electronic Discovery services.

The January Qualcomm ruling, Microsoft’s recently publicized Vista E-mail debacles, and the New Federal Rules continue to drive demand from litigators seeking direction in this dynamic and often chaotic electronic discovery environment.  The agenda included “Computer Forensics 101″, electronic discovery strategies for success, and a summary of current relevant court rulings, including Resource Center for Independent Living, Inc., v. Ability Resources, Inc., a recent prominent case finding related to the successful application of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) in a trade secret misappropriation matter.
