Jeffrey Hartman, President of Impact Forensics in Chicago, shared his computer forensics expertise at the June 16, 2006 Chicago Bar Association’s “Computer Forensics for Lawyers” event. The conference, sponsored by the CBA’s Computer Law Committee, highlighted the

Elements of the program included methods of acquiring and searching computer evidence, chain of custody and spoliation avoidance, the impact of changing Federal Rules for Civil Procedure
related to Electronic Discovery, and theft of trade secrets case studies focusing on the importance of computer evidence.
Other speakers included William Cook of Wildman Harrold Allen & Dixon, Mark Simon of Eclipsecurity, and moderator D. James Nahikian, chair of the CBA Computer Law Committee. The program was well attended and web cast for members. Video recorded materials are available on DVD and in printed format from www.chicagobar.org.
